A Rockville destination
Open, informed, and easy to navigate
The Penthouse is a bright, open second-floor space with walls of windows, a fireplace, and a family-room setting. Its clubhouse-inspired design gives first-time visitors room to get oriented while experienced shoppers can move directly from the menu to pickup. The store is designed around clear product navigation, not a hurried counter.
Rockville neighborhoods
Customers arrive from Twinbrook, King Farm, Shady Grove, Fallsgrove, Rockville Town Center, and Congressional Plaza. Use the precise neighborhood or shopping-center starting point in live navigation.
Curated Maryland brands
The menu brings together a considered selection of Maryland brands across flower, pre-rolls, vaporizers, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, topicals, and accessories. Availability changes, so check the live menu before leaving.
Shop by Feeling
Shop by Feeling helps visitors begin with what they want from the visit, then use product format, label information, and staff guidance to narrow the menu without making medical promises.
SOL Cafe and SOL BAR
SOL Cafe and SOL BAR are part of the Penthouse experience: welcoming places to pause, orient yourself, and spend time with the brand while shopping or learning about the menu.
Pharmacist-led education
Pharmacist-led education gives customers a place to ask informed questions about product formats, labels, and responsible use. It complements — and does not replace — advice from a personal healthcare professional.
Programming at the Penthouse
In-store programming and education are part of the destination’s role in the local community. Check current SOL announcements for what is scheduled rather than relying on a standing event promise.
Order ahead when you know what you want, or plan a first visit around the bright open floor, product guidance, surface parking, and elevator access next to The Bottle Shop. Adult-use purchases are limited to adults age 21 and older. Registered Maryland medical cannabis patients may purchase in accordance with Maryland law.
Rockville field guide
Find the Penthouse from the corridors that shape Rockville
SOL of Potomac is a physical Rockville store at 350 Fortune Terrace, Suite 210, in Potomac Woods Plaza. The final approach depends on where you begin: Rockville Pike and Montrose Road connect differently from Potomac Avenue, Seven Locks Road, or the I-270 corridor. Use live navigation for the exact turn-by-turn route, then look for The Bottle Shop and the second-floor entrance.
Rockville Pike / MD-355
From the central Rockville corridor, check current conditions before choosing the connection toward Montrose Road and Fortune Terrace.
Montrose Road and Potomac Avenue
These are useful local references near the plaza; confirm the full address rather than navigating to a generic Rockville pin.
Seven Locks Road and Park Potomac
Customers approaching from Potomac can use Park Potomac as a nearby landmark. SOL is next to Park Potomac, above The Bottle Shop.
I-270 and the wider county
Traffic and construction can change the available approach. Set the destination to Suite 210 before leaving and allow time for the plaza arrival.
First-time visitors can park in the Potomac Woods Plaza surface lot, bring valid government-issued ID, and take the elevator next to The Bottle Shop entrance or use the stairs. Adult-use customers must be 21 or older. Registered Maryland medical cannabis patients should bring the identification required for a medical purchase.
