What Does "Live" Mean?

Live Resin: Solvent-Based Extraction
Live resin is made by running a hydrocarbon solvent — typically butane, propane, or a blend — through the fresh-frozen plant material to pull out cannabinoids and terpenes. The solvent is then purged from the extract under controlled temperature and pressure, leaving behind a concentrate.
When extraction and purging are done correctly by a licensed, regulated manufacturer, residual solvent levels in the final product are tested and must fall within Maryland's safety limits before the product can be sold.
